Student volunteering

Some conferences and forums offer volunteering roles for students.  Volunteers assist in the running of the conference in exchange for free registration.  For information on student volunteer opportunities at APS conference go to www.psychology.org.au/conferences/#s3. For other volunteering opportunities contact the conference organiser.

Bursaries and scholarships

Scholarships and bursaries are often available from conference organisers and/or from employers (particularly tertiary education providers) to support students, early career researchers and others to attend professional development events.  Check with the conference organisers, your school/department, and with your Indigenous Education Centre if you are a student.
